Quite literally the glue which holds our office together, a feat to which she would never admit, Kate is one of our longest serving and most invaluable team members.
Kate joined the Abel McGrath family at the tender age of 20 following an overseas stint and never having considered a career in Real Estate. Growing up in Mosman Park it is fair to say Kate had a sound understanding of the workings of the Western Suburbs, so when a position as front of house/receptionist presented itself at Abel McGrath, she decided to put her best foot forward and was immediately hired.
Kate quickly fell in love with her new found role and knew she had found her niche. She soon progressed throughout the many different sectors of the industry. Her deep understanding of all aspects of the business combined with many years of experience and a genuine desire to help others succeed and flourish lead her to her current role as Office Manager and Head of Property Management.
A very quiet achiever and an absolute perfectionist who thrives on seeing others succeed, Kate performs the very difficult task of providing support to a large office. She has been instrumental in cultivating and maintaining the Abel McGrath culture and contributing to the growth and success of all team members as well as ensuring the right systems and procedures are in place to make sure all of our clients receive world class service at all times.
In her down time, Kate loves to spend as much time as possible with her husband, family, friends and her two very much loved dogs Ashley and Harlow. She also loves to travel and can’t resist a good Netflix binge session with some great food, albeit definitely not cooked by her!

As Head of Property Management, together, with her experienced team, Sara ensures that an exceptional service is provided to both landlords and tenants.
Sara started her career in 2003 where she built her knowledge of property management. Just three short years later she was awarded the Inaugural WA Property Manager of the Year in REIWA’s Awards for Excellence. This award recognised Sara for her innovation and ability to think outside the square. In 2012 she was recognised once again by REIWA and received the award for a second time, a feat not achieved by any other residential Property Manager in WA. In 2015, Sara was awarded Highly Recommended Property Manager in the Investor’s Choice Awards and in 2016 Sara was once again awarded REIWA’s Property Manager of the Year.
Sara has had various roles in property management, including overseeing property management for a large state wide real estate network, as well as running her own successful real estate agency.
Sara is well respected in the industry by both clients and her peers. She is a regular contributor to national publications, including “Residential Property Manager” and has also been heard on talkback radio.
Sara has also carried out Professional Development training throughout Perth, is an assessor for REIWA training and has been a committee member for the REIWA Property Management Network since 2015.
Sara prides herself on listening to client’s individual needs. She is skilled in finding solutions that meet her clients individual needs. Her ethical, “can do” approach is clearly evident by the number of clients that are referred to her as well as the number of clients that come back when they have new real estate needs.
In her spare time, Sara likes to spend time with family and friends.
