Michael first began his real estate career more than two decades ago with an extensive grounding in a broad range of property transactions. His early experience included everything from land sales, sub-divisions, contract homes and builders’ display properties through to more traditional real estate transactions in the established home market.
Michael’s personal life as a family man gave him an excellent insight into the needs and expectations of Canberra buyers; this understanding and empathy gave him extraordinary success in the listing and sale of local properties, and a burgeoning client database.
Since then Michael has also added property management to his considerable stable of talents and was happy to impart his invaluable real estate knowledge to landlords, tenants and tradesmen alike. Michael also sold homes for clients whenever the opportunity arose, but concentrated his time on property management to ensure Canberra’s investment community enjoyed a level of service that only decades of experience in real estate can offer.
After 10 years in property management Michael has now decided to return to fulltime property sales.
With a wealth of experience in all aspects of real estate Michael is available to discuss your requirements to achieve a successful outcome in selling your home or investment property.
He likes Morris Minors too!

“From his humble beginnings as a personal assistant to winning Independent Property Group’s Rookie of the Year in 2014, Charlie has risen through the ranks and established himself as a premier real estate salesperson in the Canberra market. Originally stamping his dominance in the new development market and achieving high results for some of Canberra’s biggest developers, Charlie has branched out into the established market, helping his clients make their next step from purchasing their first home or investment property.
Charlie bases his work ethic on ‘simplifying’ the buying and selling process. It is through this clarity that buyers and sellers are well-informed of what to expect and receive consistent communication every step of the journey.
What separates Charlie from everyone else:
• Work ethic
Charlie prides himself on working 7 days a week attending to his clients’ questions, needs or sales enquiries at all hours. He never stops!
• Market knowledge
Due to his high intensity work hours, Charlie’s knowledge of the Canberra market is superior.
• Market coverage
Charlie works extensively in both the established & new development markets, giving him comprehensive access to the largest range of buyers looking at apartments, townhouses & houses. More coverage equals greater skills and knowledge.
Some successful projects Charlie has influenced:
• Kingsborough (Kingston Foreshore)
• Midnight (Braddon)
• Vierra (Franklin)
• Newtown (Crace)
• Stockdale45 (Dickson)
• Infinity Towers (Gungahlin)
• Eastridge (Lawson)
With the little time Charlie has outside of his productive work week, you can find him on the tennis court. It is through this love of tennis that Charlie recharges his batteries to maintain a high level of service and work ethic for his clients (when Roger Federer retires Charlie will enter a period of mourning).
If you wish to talk either real estate or tennis, feel free to call Charlie anytime.

“Karen grew up on the South Coast of NSW and moved to Canberra in 2002. Her mother Margaret Murphy was one of the first female licensed real estate agents on the South Coast. As a child she spent weekends helping in the office, and also worked as a property manager in the early 1990s at The Professionals in Huskisson where Karen’s mum was the licensee.
Karen’s working career began at the State Bank of NSW in Nowra when she was 15 years old. When she was 17 she purchased a block of land in St Georges Basin, and sold it at the age of 21 for a 300 percent profit. She used the proceeds from the sale to build her first home in Sanctuary Point. By her late 20s she had purchased her first investment property, and so her interest and passion for real estate began.
During her career which spans more than 30 years, she has worked in the finance, insurance and real estate industries. Karen spent eight years as the Principal of her own mortgage broking business, helping people to buy property and refinance their home loans. Karen’s specialty was advising clients with small-to-medium investment property portfolios. This wealth of experience has given her the necessary tools and maturity to help people like you to achieve positive outcomes. Karen understands that everyone’s circumstances are unique, and she genuinely care about the people and families she helps. Her job is to assist you to achieve your goals and realise your dreams. Karen is committed to providing you with an exceptional service experience, and her aim is to make sure that your needs are not only met but exceeded. Karen loves coming to work every day and traveling around the Canberra region, meeting new people and looking at amazing homes and investment properties.
When Karen is not at work, you’ll find her enjoying a walk on one of the many trails and pathways around the ACT, spending time with her kids, or socialising with friends at one of Canberra’s fantastic cafes or restaurants.
