Marcus was born in London where he met his wife and was trained in Hospitality, an industry that has enabled him to travel the world, taking him from New York to New Delhi, Africa to the Bahamas and almost everywhere else in between.
Since arriving in Australia in 1997, Marcus has worked his way around the mainland with stints in Sydney, Melbourne, Fremantle and Cairns, before discovering in 2002 that Tasmania is the best place in Australia to permanently put down roots.
